Wealth Check is built so your financial data stays yours. This policy explains what the app does and doesn't do with your information.

Your data never goes to our servers

Wealth Check has no accounts, no sign-up and no servers of its own. The assets, values and notes you enter are stored on your device. We cannot see, access or sell them.

iCloud sync

If you have iCloud turned on, your data is synced between your devices using Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) in your own private iCloud account. This is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy; we have no access to it.

Exchange rates

To convert assets held in different currencies, the app downloads current exchange rates from a public exchange-rate service. These requests only contain currency codes, never your amounts or any personal information. Like any web request, the service may see your device's IP address.

No tracking or advertising

Wealth Check contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not collect data for profiling. We do not share any data with third parties.

Purchases

The optional one-time unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details.

Feedback emails

If you choose to email us from the app, we receive your email address, your message, and the app version, iOS version and device model added to help with support. We use this only to reply to you and don't share it.

Your choices

You can export your data at any time and delete any asset or entry within the app. Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device. Data in iCloud can be managed in your device's iCloud settings.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
